They are formerly from 508 207 ( originally 508 116 after a short stint at Wimbledon as 508 016 ).

455840 455815 sadly now gone for scrap.
5Q55 0857 Stewarts Lane to Newport Docks Simms today going via lydney.
Very iconic and special via the Severn estuary. Some time since a 455 has been beside the beach.

Thanks! 455830 was the last 455 I commuted on after 11 years of doing so every day for school, college and work so it’s sad to see that go, and 837 was a favourite of mine.

66724 is the loco for their final journeys.

It should just be 5836 as that was the only one left at Hove according to my records. It initially went down as a 12 car with 5822/5814.
5801/5807, the last two sets at Streatham Hill were moved to Stewarts Lane yesterday so 5836 may well have been the last Southern 455 to run under its own power.
