They are formerly from 508 207 ( originally 508 116 after a short stint at Wimbledon as 508 016 ).I’ve seen a clip of one of these moves on YouTube. What driving cars are the barrier vehicles converted from?
Thanks for the info.They are formerly from 508 207 ( originally 508 116 after a short stint at Wimbledon as 508 016 ).

just left
455840 455815.Two just passed Swindon with the Railfreight branded 66 and two barrier wagons heading to Newport. Sorry didn't catch the numbers.
These were the two units I recorded at Victoria. 840 went out to Sutton after the Metro Marauder, followed by 815 to London Bridge. What a coincidence.455840 455815.
Any idea which 455’s are leaving tomorrow please?
Thanks! 455830 was the last 455 I commuted on after 11 years of doing so every day for school, college and work so it’s sad to see that go, and 837 was a favourite of mine.Does anyone know if anything special is happening to 455833 and 455834?
830 and 837 i believe
Confirmed 66724 5Q55 0857 Stewarts Lane to Newport Simms on time Shepherd's Bush with Arlington vans and 455830 455837.Thanks! 455830 was the last 455 I commuted on after 11 years of doing so every day for school, college and work so it’s sad to see that go, and 837 was a favourite of mine.

Is this 5836? I couldn't remember if it was on its own or had companyLast 8/455 move today on the Brighton Mainline (Bar one set at Streatham Hill)
3Z55 13+08 Hove - BSL
It should just be 5836 as that was the only one left at Hove according to my records. It initially went down as a 12 car with 5822/5814.Is this 5836? I couldn't remember if it was on its own or had company
That would be 5804 and 58193Z55 - 5836 & 5812.
One final 8car in Streatham Hill Shed will move next week to BSL. Then they are all there ahead of Newport moves.
Anyone know which 455’s are booked for their one way trip to the scrap man next week?STP 12/07 5Q55 1038 Stewarts Lane - Newport Docks
STP 14/07 5Q55 1038 Stewarts Lane - Newport Docks
I also have 823 and 844 at Hove - any ideas when and where they moved please? It should just be 5836 as that was the only one left at Hove according to my records. It initially went down as a 12 car with 5822/5814.
5801/5807, the last two sets at Streatham Hill were moved to Stewarts Lane yesterday so 5836 may well have been the last Southern 455 to run under its own power.
Are the ones at Hove the ones that are currently furthest away fro the scrap heap?I also have 823 and 844 at Hove - any ideas when and where they moved please?
They are now at Stewarts Lane, they had to return there because they were graffiti'dI also have 823 and 844 at Hove - any ideas when and where they moved please?

Thanks for that. Just looks like such an efficient operation at that place.... compare that to Vic Berrys yard in the 80s lolFound this shot on Flickr taken last month showing an overhead view of the Sims Metals yard at Newport Docks and there’s some 455s awaiting their demise, with a few carriages on their side! https://www.flickr.com/photos/18764...5vhx2-2kXRmd1-2j3ix6R-2j5ywUX-2mkPboe-2iFQNL2
