To be honest I'd rather have good old silence

edit: that "thrash" sounded more like black metal

Clearly the moral of the advert is travel by car, then you can listen to what you want!

It sounds a little like early Fear Factory to me, so more of a thrash metal/grindcore cross with a slight hint of industrial.

Black metal vocals always sound like Eric Cartman having a tantrum IMO

EDIT - Apologies to the majority on here who won't have the vaguest idea what I'm wittering on about

I'd put it in the thrash/grindcore camp as well, though more UK grindcore than American eg Napalm Death.

As for the advert ... well, clearly lying about a typical flight experience, so why should I believe them about the trains?

I've been inspired to pop some Extreme Noise Terror on the YouTube though, quite enjoying it.

Spandau Ballet or Thrash Metal?

Well that would depend on my mood. Although I don't think I've ever been in the mood for Spandau Ballet...

Thrash every time. The fact I have part of an Anthrax album cover (at this point in time) says it all!

I wouldn't say the song they used was "thrash" in the purest sense, more like a blend of thrash/black/death metal, as some of the other members said above. To be alliterative, they should've chosen Slayer instead. ;)

I would tend to agree, I may have been to Spandau but I have never felt inclined to listen to Spandau Ballet but at times I will listen to German metal.
