If a train is canceled, you have a choice:
- Abandon the journey entirely (i.e. do not travel, or if you started the journey, return immediately to origin) - if so, get a refund from Raileasy
- Make the journey; if this results in a delay of a qualifying length, claim Delay Repay from the train company.
If you choose to get a lift (is that what you are saying?) to minimise a delay, and still made the journey, this doesn't change anything.
If you chose to get a lift for the entire journey and the tickets remain unused, you can get a refund.
If you did make the journey, you cannot ask for a refund from Raileasy.
If you can elaborate what your intended itinerary was, and what actually happened, we may be able to advise accordingly.
