Just wondering if anyone could tell me why a Stagecoach Enviro 300 drove past me whilst I was in Bierton (edge of Aylesbury) today? Seeing as SC have no operations in Bucks beyond MK other than the X5, or anywhere over that area...

Thanks!

Was it actually in service/ carrying passengers?

It could have been on transfer from 1 depot to another.

These were my initial thoughts too, but hardly seems a sensible route to take? It was on the A418 leaving Ayles towards Leighton Buzzard. What depot transfer would that route make sense for? And it's away from London!

Could be connected with the Paralympic Relay which starts in Stoke Mandible on Tuesday. As it's a non stop relay (no vehicle transport) over 24 hours there are a lot more people to be moved, probably more then the Olympic Streetlites can handle on their own.

Do you mean Stoke Mandeville?

So is it likely we'll see more of them in the Ayles area?

Wish it meant that Stagecoach were starting services in Aylesbury then we might get some decent buses to travel on instead of the rubbish that handles most of Arriva,s services in Aylesbury.
