It would appear my usual reliable contact passed on some duff information based on an earlier list of B9s being withdrawn to Metroline rather than the updated one I have seen since. Doesn't really matter regardless as they'll all be gone in less than a month now

I think people have based a B9 not tracking for a week or so as withdrawn and with Metroline. Easy mistake to make given the condition of them.

The swap between Manchester 2008/09 E400s and Yorkshire hybrids has started with 19426/451/453/462/467/471 transferred to Holbrook today, in total 36 E400s are due to transfer to Yorkshire in the coming weeks and all 36 Yorkshire based hybrids are moving over to Metroline Manchester in the new year.

I think people have based a B9 not tracking for a week or so as withdrawn and with Metroline. Easy mistake to make given the condition of them.

Whats interesting is that there wont be many hybrids left outside of Manchester and London for Stagecoach once Tranche 3 is underway.

Both the 142/143 have seen a massive frequency reduction to half hourly from today. This will free up a lot of vehicles with reductions in other routes due as well.

They're obviously not. Multiple sources in various places have confirmed they will go to Metroline, including Metroline themselves. Anything staying with Stagecoach in T3 is now at Stockport.

Why is at least one of them stickered up for Bee Network then.... We know by now they are staying

Not just freeing up vehicles, Sharston and Hyde road are incredibly short of drivers with a lot of work being left uncovered.

Yes both Sharston and Hyde Road are short as I know 2 friends of mine from Preston Depot have been covering work at Sharston Depot recently.

Possibly these BYD E400's only going on loan until Metroline have enough of there own buses

Anyone know if any of the 17-20 plate E400 MMCs with the LED dot matrix next stop boards at Stagecoach Queens Road have working onboard announcements because I may be seeing things but I could’ve sworn I saw a 17 plate yellow MMC on the 135 stop next to me and I saw on the Dot matrix “135 to Manchester”

A couple of the yellow 69 and 20 plates have the announcements working, but the dot matrix seems to be a bit glitchy on those. 17 plates don't have announcements or dot matrix displays inside them (yet).

Sorry I was unsure about what year had the displays so just said a range but thanks for your answer. Did see it was a bit glitchy but definitely will get a ride on one of them before Christmas I hope

According to an East Midlands driver I was speaking to 57 Enviro 400MMCs are due to transfer to them imminently. Four have already arrived at Mansfield as noted in post #98

Think its 57 Enviros in general unless they're getting basically all the MMCs leaving Manchester

57 wouldn't be enough if it's all the ALX400s and 19001-19130 series of Enviro 400s that are due for replacement (as quoted elsewhere). East Midlands have 29 and 50 respectively, so 79 vehicles would be needed to replace them all.
I guess we'll see, either way it should be an interesting few months ahead!
