Landing at White Lund this am, PX61 CVB B423/1 SZAN4X20001875779
PX61 CVC B423/2 SZAN4X20001875780
PX61 CVD B423/3 SZAN4X20001875781

They are DPH45/29F
the first three of the Scanias for Kendal

They look great, Paul has a snap of one on his Flickr in case anybody hasn't seen it. Is the plan still to swap the Scans with Tridents at Lancaster?

Quite impressed that nobody seems to know where the Tridents are going, and if they do are keeping the secret very well!

Also been in Liverpool this week and seen nearly all of Merseys Tridents. They look and sound great, good to see them in the flesh!!!

20128 & 20133 have been touched up and are now sitting in Carlisle depot next to the paintshop. I was told there were 2 London Trident's there too awaiting dispatch to Liverpool but they had gone by the time I got there.

34685 & 34687 both on full 79/179 duties today, mega rare!

I overtook Trident 18159 which was stuck in traffic on Greyhound Bridge, whilst working the late running 16.02 St. Chads.

I will be in Liverpool & Birkenhead on Sunday.

Makes you think if ME have put in for new buses for the 2/2A route(preferbly E400 or E400Hs), if the tridents are going down like flies and 16351 didnt last long at ME, the scrapyard awaits.<D

Nice, wonder what they are replacing if they do turn up.

Hard to say really. I doubt ME could justify keeping all the 2005 Tridents to replace Olys because of the amount of time they would spend on schools etc. However they might keep some for services like the 42, and the Carnforth corridor but who knows! I mean I have no idea about how much interworking there is between schools and public services.

20794 was on X60/X61 today, with quite a full load. 16654 and a P reg Oly were the other 2 buses on.

Looking back on the thread briefly, it hasn't been noted that 16330 at Preston now has an LED, it was working 59's today, sounding and moving pretty decent.

The inner recesses of my tortured mind.

The P reg was 16640.

I had the pleasure of 20794 today, between about 1040 and 1415. Dead slow on the motorway, 47mph tops. But it was nice to be behind the wheel of a B10 again.

The X60/1s were all over the show today. I was 40 minutes late back into Chorley from Manchester, due to roadworks in Preston, Heath Charnock and our old friends on Chapel Street in Salford.

Gonna have to keep an eye out for it thats if they are gonna trial the MANecocity.
Whats the betting stagecoach is gonna go for the green livery that the E400Hs and KLs Scanias carry in a few years?

Spotted a couple of odd workings yesterday for Chorley vehicles. 17019 was noted at around 13:00 on the A6 passing the front of the Capital Centre heading away from Preston. It was out of service and sounded very rough.

Then at around 16:00 15563 was noted heading through Bamber Bridge towards Preston, also not in service.

As mentioned already, I suspect the road works on the A6 heading into Preston are causing a lot of hassle for buses.

Is 22274 still plying its trade in the North West? This was named The Backstreet boys when based here in Fife.

And Mbonwick, any chance you can e-mail me a PDF of the current East Scotland and North West fleetcards?
