14259 is allocated onto there when 16185 is not available or is on the tacho 555. Leylands now get used as there is no need for a tacho.

Looks like (it was pretty dark in the lanes at 4.55am) 16328 tucked away at LL.
47016 and newly painted O/T 17277 also present.

Any idea if 16 is storage or for work? Makes sense why it was not present at Kendal on Monday and hence they were short...

24122 & one of the 79 Enviros is currently at MAN (Nothing new there) for work. Both look to have been towed in.

Both of the ex London Open Top Tridents at Carlisle have been repainted and are about ready.

Chorley are rather short on Scanias at the moment; 1 with accident damage, 1 away at Plaxton with a collapsed rear and 1 which has minor fire damage.

Possibly related but not sure.

Slightly outwith Stagecoach NW, but you may be interested to know that a few more details are available about the 5 Dennis Tridents that Preston Bus bought off Lothian, and which Stagecoach Fife done the prep work on.

The buses were numbered during their stay at stagecoach Fife. In a practice dating back to SBG days, Fife gives other operators vehicles a 6 digit code; in this case, it was 380001-5. They also were used in service, mainly schools, by Fife, for testing prior to being moved to Preston, or in one case, to Stagecoach NW at Preston.

The vehicles were mainly treated at Aberhill, but it's known that they also visited Rennies, and Cowdenbeath. What work was done at the latter two depots is unknown.

The vehicles were never shown on East Scotland fleetcards, as they weren't owned. Curiously, one of the buses did leave with Stagecoach and Rotala logos.......

Does anybody know anything about 16047 (R747 XAR) & 16499 (P149 KWJ) having been transferred to the North West from the Midlands ?

Only there have been reported elsewhere on the internet as having been.

They're both supposedly for Lillyhall schools, replacing 2 short Oly's (likely to be NC bodied 16184 P484 HBA and 16447 N347 HGK, not confirmed though).

Bet CY are over the moon!

Apparently ME and CY have swapped Scans so CY can do Eco drive tests or something.

Okay so a few movements and changes for Chorley.... 15682 is on loan from ME for a period of time whilst some Greenroad comparrisons are carried out, this sees 15563 going the other way, 33133 is currently on a VERY TEMP loan  from GM whilst a suitable replacement is found probably coming from PR in the VERY near future, 15567 which has sufffered severe accident damage will be out of use for some time, currently awaiting a decision as to where this will be repaired either at CY or back to Falkirk, 47019 & 47021 will shortly be moving from CY to destination unknown

That's all folks...

A couple of MAN 18.220s are reported to have transfered from Bluebird to cumbria nd North Lancs. Their fleetnumbers are 22121/40/1. same vehicles are reported as being with Manchester again.

In other news, East Scotland 22262 was due to move to Merseyside, but engine failure meant it didn't go. still at Aberhill. Also, none of the ex North West Volvo Olympians remain at rennies, from lease in 2007. Age restrictions (15 years) saw them ousted by some ex Strathtay Olympians.

Note Stagecoach Cumbria and North lancs, Merseyside and south lancs, Rotala Preston Bus, we have a more modern double deck fleet than you!

22121/40/41 transferred nearly two months ago...keep up!
I doubt 22262 would be for service on Merseyside - and it's engine troubles are hardly new, it was stored before December with the problem.

I would love to know which ex-NW Olympians you are referring to.

16359 16641 are the two ex North West Olympians in question that Stagecoach Fife had leased to Rennies in summer 2007, before Stagecoach bought Rennies in February 2008.

17024 wandering around Hala on what I assume was the 2/2a. Couldn't tell as its front LED has been removed entirely.
