To replace some older darts in Fife, which will shortly exceed the 15 year upper age limit, and also to replace an MAN 18.220 at Dunfermline, which was used on route 28, which is more suited to a Dart than a full size single decker.

I buy a Megarider Gold every week.I use it to get to work from Chorley to Bolton during the week, but at weekends use it to go all over the place.Been to Liverpool,Chester,Blackpool,Lancaster and Carlisle. You can even use it on the X8 from Chorley to Keswick. Its a bargain and never had a problem with it yet, even in Chester. It used to cost me more on fuel just to get to work 5 days a week.

The issues i was on about just boil down to the simple fact the drivers dont know about it, often my mates who have bought it have ended up getting a free ride into liverpool from Allerton (sometimes even making it to Preston before someone decides to issue the ticket!) on some cases the driver has had to ring the depot for help, i live in St Helens and never used the ticket before so am only going of what i been told, hope my driver finds it :P

I do know what you mean, even at the travel shop in Preston I asked to make sure i could use it to go to Chester and she said no,even though i knew that i could.Better marketing wouldnt go a miss and better staff briefing about the ticket.I wonder how i would get on if I tried to use it on the 685 to Newcastle.Lol.
My own personal opinion is that they could raise the price to £28 and make it valid on Stagecoach Manchester. There is a lot of confusion with Manchester and Merseyside and South Lancs regarding day and weekly tickets in Bolton and Wigan not being interchangable even though the buses are the same colour and owned by the same company.

Short term cover until the rest of Carlisle's E200s arrive to allow for internal cascades. Lillyhall's 22260 and one of Morecambe's MANs have suffered engine failures, reserve 20918 was in an accident the other week and isn't being repaired.
