Looks like it arrived on tow, dunno what condition these are in and would they be used at Carlisle? Though hopefully 33144 will end up being sold out of the group - i wouldn't like Lilyhall to have to put up with more of our ex Preston junk!
In answer to a previously posed question, there are at least 2 more of these still in service in Liverpool as 33145/6. Preston only recieved 33143/4 at the same time as all the Marshalls left Liverpool, of which they continue to operate 33163,71/2 (33163 now all the better for apprently having a new gearbox AND reconditioned engine). None of these are great on anything more hilly than a speed hump!
Expect to see another ex Chorley Trident for repaint at Carlisle soon, 18146 has been undergoing accident repairs since late last year, but is now nearly rebuilt and will join the 14 others at Frenchwood soon.

It strikes me that 20435/6 may not be around in service much longer. I could well be wrong, but I can't see why else they'd be in reserve.

As I've said before, the case of 33138/33144 will tell us a lot about the future of other ex-GTL stuff.

Chris - hopefully when 18146 joins the rest of the batch at Preston, kendal will be able to have 18374 back!

I do hope KL get their Trident back lol.

I know I've asked this before but do we have any idea whether or not ME's old solos are staying around? I know 47156 has gone to CE thanks to Jonesy but does this mean the others will follow?

From what ive heard, the Kendal Trident came down as it was required as the PVR increased by 1 for the new 2's and 2A route through to Ormskirk, so its anybody's guess if it will return. It has had its Cumbria fleetnames replaced by Lancashire ones and Ribble Motor Services legals fitted, so it looks like its staying. Plus Frenchwood have at least one of 16352/3 knocking around with full Coastliner branding, which I understand will be replaced by 18146.

That is a shame, looks like an odd ball down there haha. Any idea where the Oly they are loosing will end up? I think it was meant to end up at CE but I'm not sure anymore!

Well 18374 would have had to have Ribble legals applied, and it's only 5mins more to change Cumbria to Lancashire. In fact, I don't think it carried "Stagecoach in Cumbria" after repaint.

16352 is the Oly still at Preston, however I believe 18374 was brought down as the vehicles need to be low floor.

Repaint... when was it last! Looks like it needs one. Can say it deffo has carried them at some point, or at least something underneath "Stagecoach".
Yes your right, the 2/2A needs to be low floor and so should the 68 really, although 16352 sometimes appears on there. Also, 18374 has a tacho, so is very useful covering the flagship low floor route, the X2.

From memory it was painted when it arrived from Manchester, and had just plain "Stagecoach" put too high up the bodyside with an upside down beachball!

Stagecoach Western are beginning to face out the famous blue and white A1 branding with the imminent arrival of 27+ Scania E400's. Don't know what will happen to the Tridents that currently operate the A1.

Its still got the upside down beachball! Did many of Kendal's Tridents actually manage to get this applied correctly!?
Looks like it could at least do with a red repaint a-la Morecambe on the rear though at least.

AFAIK, only 17014 and 18374 had upside down/squint beachballs.
18374 was repainted when it arrived from Manchester - so it's been nearly 2 years without paint!

14202, 14209, 14232, 14247, 14265, 14268, 16330, 16336 (arrived from Penrith and went straight onto schools), 16338, 16343, 16870 and 34703 on school work in Carlisle.

14260 was in back of Carlisle depot, crash damaged :( front roof dome has been smashed in, looks like it has hit a rather thick branch at speed. guessing it'll be stripped and scrapped! it had "Penrith Market Free Bus" on the bright tech.

also managed to see some of 20966's crash damage. the front offside is smashed in, full cab area pretty much.
40011 in body shop.
usual stuff in workshops.
usual stuff in big shed.
Merseyside's 33138 still sat in the back corner of the depot.

33162 on 38, with quite a few standee's!
42090 and 42094 both around on 69, 71 and 101.
Osprey Bus 42545 on 95.
both 52626 and 52627 on 685.
14235 on 554.

16447, 16652, 16653 and 16734 on 300.
bit of trouble on 300. well, a driver pulled up on West Tower Street to let passengers on, en route to Whitehaven. an old woman went to put out her fag as it came around the corner, was picking her bags up, waved at the driver to wait, he was looking at her, then he drove off, with the doors open! not sure if she sat around waiting for the next one (an hour), or got the next 600 instead.

35247 on 51 at minute.
20759 and 47005 on 47.
33167 on 46 / 46A.
20436 on a college special 30 this morning.
35246 and 20919 on 30 and 31 with E300's. i'm told by rosswatson that 16733 and 20918 are also on!

16657 on short X3s
16877 on a 4x I think

Nothing else really. Classic had a nice Irizar/Berkhof Axial in on the Newcastle run.

Wonder if 16664 is going to be repainted into Morecambe and Heysham colours as a replacement for 14204 or into corporate livery.

Been on it all day, was on the 89 at Lancaster this morning as well.

You might have seen me with the city shirt on.
