I saw a white E400MMC on trade plates driving around Scarborough on Thursday afternoon. No idea who it was for but I thought buses were usually painted before road tests? I managed a few photos as it went past me but no way of finding out where it was destined I guess.

Why not have white between decks to break up the plain green? This would brighten up the appearance.

Lothian, Reading, Bristol and Brighton & Hove have all reintroduced dual-door operation of late - as did Stagecoach in Cambridge on their Park & Ride fleet.
Thanks for that information. It crossed my mind that the photo was probably of a park and ride vehicle rather than a new livery for Stagecoach.

The Cambridge park and ride fleet was renewed with single door vehicles three years ago.

Thanks. It will be interesting to see the finished product. Mind, even as it is in the photo, it's a damn sight better and better than Arriva or First's liveries.
Although First don't really a unified livery these days. They have some fantastic local liveries though, but that's the subject of another topic..

Local gossip, any news on Wigan Southport 375, 385 service moving from arrive to sragecoach
They aren't meant to be taking over the Southport services are they? Last I heard, Elizabeth Tasker wanted to keep Wigan as a local depot which didn't run buses very far (Except the 34). Stagecoach would be great for the Skem area btu I really can't see it. Arriva will want to sell Southport and not just close it slowly surely. Also, what is the point in taking the 375 and 385 but then not taking the 395 as well...

Rumers have it, Arriva are pulling out, and transferring to Stagecoach, not sure if it GM Stagecoach or Lancashire, not sure how much truth there is in this

It's possible but why would Arriva pull one of the big money makers.... Anyway, this is way off topic, probably worth another thread as it's not relevant to the rebrand :)

Though it is indeed situated a long way from the rest of their Merseyside network, I can't really see this happening. There's a few money-makers in that area like 47 and 375/385/395 services.

I am told from a fairy reliable source that the rebrand is being put off until February now due to issues with paint etc.

Almost 100% true, one of the colours met with disagreement up top (dunno how they couldn't have realised earlier)

Might explain the new Panoramas for the M11 being just painted blue with really basic lettering!

I’m guessing the blue, then? The mint green seems to be validated by the Busway Enviro400XLBs. Sensible delaying it to get it right, the German airline Lufthansa unveiled their new livery with a dark blue tail that soon became apparent that on rainy days looked black, so they had to lighten the blue and enlarge the tail logo within a few months of the rebrand.

We may have lost the gold brand, but as seen on Oxford’s SN69 batch the seating style and flooring remains the i’m the same style

Those look pretty nice, Gold looks nicer though IMO. Looking forward to travelling on these (they should be in service fairly soon, judging by the fact that quite a few have already been delivered).

Many of the new ADL Enviro400s now seem to be in service with the old Stagecoach exterior livery, with earlier delivered examples featuring an updated version of the blue and orange seats, and newer ones with the blue and grey interior branding (although internal signage still carries the old colours).

Other differences are that the new ones have white LEDs in their destination displays rather than yellow-orange, as well as having a full-width rear display rather than a small one. Some areas also appear to have interior dot-matrix displays - the same ones that are found on the "Lakesider" tourist route - although I'm yet to see one working properly!
