Templecombe also has a redundant signal box, located on the disused platform. The box has been given a replica Southern Railway sign whilst the disused waiting room and footbridge have been repainted into Southern Railway colours.
Just to clarify the OP's comment about Highley on the SVR. The box is opposite the platform, not on it.
Bridgnorth box is on the platform, as is one of the Bewdley boxes on the SVR, and because of their location tend to be open for visits during "behind the scenes" events on the railway.

Smithy bridge -next to the station on the Manchester to Bradford line.
Bodmin Parkway; now an excellent cafe.
They knocked that down a year or so ago unfortunately.
Don't think the following as been mentioned:
Chelmsford. Not in use I believe. It's on top of the roof form memory.
On the Cumbrian Coast line:
Wigton
Maryport
Workington - 2 boxes!
Whitehaven
St Bees
Sellafield
Millom
Barrow
Grange over Sands
Arnside
I'm sure there are others.
Why does Workington need two boxes these days it are one or more of then out of use now?On the Cumbrian Coast line:
Wigton
Maryport
Workington - 2 boxes!
Whitehaven
St Bees
Sellafield
Millom
Barrow
Grange over Sands
Arnside
I'm sure there are others.
Basingstoke has to be an unusual one as it's possibly one of the only boxes to change locations 3 times. The original LSWR / Southern & GWR signal boxes all merged into one in the 60s, That's since closed with signaling transferring to the former NSE offices next to the station, and that's all about to move up to the ROC - if it hasn't already.
The already mentioned Salisbury is a bit of a gem - one of the former boxes remains out of use and disused on the island platform, but the current open signal centre is located in the main station building.
Has anyone mentioned Marylebone yet? And of course until this decade - Reading Panel, Banbury South and North boxes.
Blimey! Don't forget Skegvegas...situated at the end of the platform.
Newark Castle, Fiskerton Stn and Lowdham; now closed but still standing.
