I saw the royal train, hauled by Tornado, go thourgh York station this morning at about 0820.

It was heading north as according to the Northern Echo Prince Charles is to visit Auckland Castle later today.

Ah, that's why Colton Junction was wedged with cars as I passed early this morning! Sun was out too, so hopefully some good shots have been taken:)

I wonder if Prince Charles will detrain in Darlington or wether the train will travel all the way to Bishop Auckland?

I dont really think Bishop station is suitable for the Royal personage :)

No sign of said train at Darlington just now, so it's gone down the branch!

The Royal Train never appears on TOPS, you will find that 67026 was showing at Bescot and "Tornado" at Southall for the whole duration of the trip regardless of where they actually were!

A member of Scot-rail.co.uk has reported that 67026 is a grangemouth at the moment.
