Stuttgart-Budapest sleeper in September

Looking at booking Stuttgart-Budapest overnight (EN 50237) in mid-September, it is showing on oebb.at as "booked up" every day between the 1st and 27th of September as far as I can tell. I'm hoping this is just some sort of temporary block on booking tickets. Is this the case or am I actually just too late? If there's any other source I could be checking or to confirm this, or anyone knows when booking might be available, it would be much appreciated!

I found it to book up very quickly when I looked at doing it a few years ago and ended up instead doing Stuttgart to Ljubljana on the Zagreb portion which didn't book up as quickly.

Oh dear, I'm amazed it seems to be completely booked, in both directions, for so many days already! Thank you though that's a good tip, I am ultimately trying to get to Bucharest so looks like via Villach could be an option (albeit a bit longer/less convenient)

I'm pretty sure they have blocked out bookings for September. The Zurich to Budapest sleeper is also the same, they must be expecting some disruption on the route. I recently booked a completely separate nightjet journey and they blocked it out the morning after I booked it, and then reopened it a few weeks later. In that case it was because of uncertainty about the new nightjet stock being available. In the case of the Zurich to Budapest sleeper, when I checked they had availability in August but not September, which is telling. I wish they wouldn't use misleading language like "booked up" when it isn't.

Stuttgart-Budapest can currently be booked until 31/8. Dates after that show up as "booked up", but in this case that really means "No data available" and bookings haven't even been opened.

Thanks, that would be great news if the case, it's the fact that the 28th September is bookable that had me worried it wasn't just a sales block

Just had a look on the mav start website and tickets for 15th September are available to book, from 29 euro in a seat, through 6 and 4 berth couchettes, 3,2, and 1 bed sleepers for 169 -299 euro depending kn how much flexibility you like to have

I had check MAV but just tried again to make sure, although it lets you get further than ÖBB it then says for me "Failed reservation. The service has been locked." Which is at least more reassuring!
