It's still over.
He may have been struck by lightning, pecked to death by birds, had a heart attack... we already decide how much a persons life is worth by the availability of NHS treatment in the country. How much money has this incident cost the country?

The people who say they'll kill themselves but don't really mean it are the ones that cause hassle like this. If you were serious, you'd just do it.

I couldn't agree more.

It is rather strange that on this thread is a large degree of sympathy for a man who 'clearly' had mental health issues.

There has been precisely zero evidence that this is the case and yet some posters on here have decided that must be the case.

This contrasts sharply with the lack of sypmathy (in general) shown towards three lads killed on the railway a couple of months ago.
