OK, so you travelled from Scotland to London (which is technically in the Up directionI travelled down to London from Scotland on a Super-Off peak return ticket last week.

I don't understand that. If you are travelling from Marlow to Bridge of Allan via London, why won't you use the ticket between Marlow and London? It's valid on any train for that leg of the journey!The ticket is from Bridge of Allan to Marlow but I have meetings in London in the morning so I'll just be using my ticket from either kings Cross or Euston.

You also get one cross-London transfer (which cannot be broken & resumed)
