Just seen latest newsletter from friends of the Lymington line

Proposed first day of operation 22 june 2016 Swanage to Wareham

Mention that during September 900 yards (good to see Imperial measurments) of track consisting of CWR and concrete sleepers to reduce future maintenance across Stoborough Heath laid. Has this happened?

Norden gates due to be commissioned December 2015

This is great news, and it's always brilliant to hear that a heritage line's extended its route. It also opens up Corfe Castle for tourist traffic.

Will these services be steam, if so, how will they do a run around at Wareham, or will it be diesel railcars or SWT 158/159s?

Anyway it will be great when through services do start again.

Services will be DMU for the foreseeable future as SR stock is, only passed for operation under a LRO. Two SR DMU's are being equipped with additional saftey equipmernt to enable passenger carrying over NR tracks
