I don't know if anything will happen, but after the anti-railway Lib Dems lost control in Sth Gloucestershire a few months ago and the Tories took over, things are moving forward!

Just a further note on this. The council are currently considering using Dinsdale as the main rail link with a shuttle bus service to the terminal. Not sure whether this will take off though as the bus from Darlington seems more likely to stay.
