Hi all, will be in the Yorkshire are of north Doncaster next week so will be looking for places to see the East coast line, was looking at Temple Hurst Jct can anyone give any pointers as to the best places to Photo the variety of trains in that area or any which is local, would prefer the open area than in the built up (station).

Colton Junction, about thirteen miles up the line towards York from Temple Hirst Jcn, is the popular favourite for photography and spotting.

Another one is a little bit south of Temple Hirst Jn is Shaftholme/Joan Croft Junction which has a variety of lines merging and joining. You have the ECML, Shaftholme(North Doncaster) Flyover, Askern Branch Line, Stainforth to Skellow Line.
