Tomorrow HD05 is out of action for underframe checks over a pit following it hitting multiple trees today, HD04 was back up but isn't available until the afternoon so is planned to enter service for the 15:30 Crewe to Manchester with the 06:27 Manchester to Cardiff/12:49 Cardiff to Crewe being units.

Thursday sees 6 sets available for the first time in a long while, and all 6 should see use. HD01+67025 and HD03+67016 are planned to undertake trial runs out of Crewe to Chester/Shrewsbury, they all should be available for a couple of days before HD05 stops for exam over the weekend, once that's complete long missing HD02 is planned to head over from Crewe ETD to Crewe ATC early next week for a heavy exam, whilst it's been at the ETD it's had some bogie/wheelset work carried out.

Royal 67006 has taken over as the Canton rescue loco.
Complete change of plan for tomorrow having "lost" HD01 and HD05.

HD01 is being repaired at Holyhead with parts making there way there this evening and it will go to Cardiff tomorrow to enable all the diagrams to be operated over the weekend, preferred plan is for it to work the 16:36 Holyhead to Cardiff vice 197 but if resources don't allow that then it will run ecs.

HD05 has some wheelset damage following it's tree strikes so needs to go on the wheel lathe before being allowed back out, it only had a couple of days before it's exam so isn't likely to be back before that.

67016 is being pressed back into service as theres nothing to do a loaded test with and is planned on HD03 on the early Crewe to Cardiff diagram with HD04/06/07 On the others.

The latest on HD01 is that Resources don't allow 1V98 to work 16.36 Holyhead - Cardiff Central. The driver between Chester and Cardiff does not sign loco and stock. In addition it was difficult to get a driver to prep it. Instead drivers and guard have been found for an earlier ECS to Crewe Arriva Train Care at approx 12 noon tomorrow. Just hoping it gets fixed now.

HD01+67010 is (as above) now en-route to Crewe from Holyhead.

HD02+67014 should move from Crewe ETD to Crewe ATC tomorrow now for heavy exam.

HD03+67016 is being kept on Crewe to Crewe diagrams for the next few days to enable 016 to be monitored.

HD04+67013 is planned to stop for a light exam over the weekend after it gets to Crewe tomorrow evening.

HD05 is having a loco swap from 67008 to 67029. 67029 and 82200 require tyre turn and the SV requires new wheelsets, 008 is planned to go light engine to Canton later/in the morning to act as additional cover following issues with 67015 earlier.

HD06+67015 had a few loco power issues earlier, 67008 will head to Canton later to be in position should it be required to swap 015 out. Its Planned to finish in Holyhead tomorrow so will spend the weekend in Holyhead

Current plan sees 4 sets out on Friday, HD03/04/06/07.
3 sets on Saturday HD01 (full diagram starting 06:27 Manchester to Cardiff), HD03 (just working 04:54 Crewe to Cardiff, 16:50 Cardiff to Manchester), 67017+HD07 (Full diagram starting 04:35 Cardiff to Manchester) with units expected to cover 05:30 Swansea to Manchester, 10:30 Manchester to Cardiff, 14:49 Cardiff to Manchester and 18:30 Manchester to Cardiff and 2 sets on Sunday, HD03 on the Crewe diagram and HD07 on the Cardiff diagram.

Seafrog has now gone live for 1st class upgrades with bidding starting at £10 on pretty much all Mk4 operated services.

This morning 1W11 is 67017 & set 7
Not sure how that will effect tomorrows planned diagrams.

Possibly change onto 1W19 1V50 which is a unit
Or set 6 will work 1W96 ?

Looks like set 6 is replacing the unit
On 1W19 & 1V50
Yes that's now the plan effectively swapping 06 and 07 with the 07 now spending the weekend in Holyhead and the 06 covering the Saturday and Sunday diagrams formerly planned for 07.

Wheelflats have been detected on 67010 so 67014 will take its place on HD01 ready for the morning.
This set is now planned out on the Crewe diagram on Sunday too with 67016+HD03 now expected to be the spare set.

RTT & Railcam saying 67025 not 014

1W00 Crewe starter today is 67014 & HD01. Showing on systems at the moment as 025 but that loco is sat further down the yard light engine, as previously mentioned with sander issues

RTT now correctly shows it as 67014
After originally still being 025

Flooding is causing 67014 + HD01 to be terminated at Crewe shortly, 67015 + HD06 is still allocated to the other diagram

Okay, by the looks of it every set isn't allocated tomorrow due to the expected closure of the Marches, I'm assuming if possible they'll jump back in if the Marches do reopen but I don't see any allocated.

None made it out today minus HD01 briefly

They tend to stay away in the depot on days of severe disruption as it becomes difficult to step them into other workings with displaced crew who may not sign them etc, and eliminates the chance of them being stuck where they shouldn’t
