Today at Crewe depot (4/3/25):

67013 connected to HD06

67022 connected to HD05 (Did 5T22 to Shrewsbury and back)

67014 connected to HD01 came in tonight

67016 was around but don't know where it went.

67022s trial run was unsuccessful and HD05 has had yet another loco change with 67017 going onto it, 022 will head back to Crewe ETD for investigation. It's planned to enter service on the 05:13 Crewe to Cardiff tomorrow.l

67008+HD03 are planned to work tomorrows Swansea to Manchester, at Canton a loco swap is planned with 67015 going on and working the evening Holyhead.

67013+HD06 are planned to head to Crewe ETD tomorrow morning for tyre turning following completion of its B exam, only HD02 is left now of this round of heavy exams but its got a few days left yet. HD07 is next up for exam, due a minor exam over the weekend.

HD01-05 are expected to be available for the weekend, possibly with 06 too. Next week, once 07 is finished it's exam there's nothing due any exams for a few days so potential for all 7 sets to be available for use at the start of Next week

As close to guaranteed as you'll ever get. Everything covered (plus spares) and loco exams are done in Holyhead over the weekend so you'd be very unlucky to get a unit.

Not quite sure what's happening with 016, slipped.under the radar that one.

Slight change of plan exam wise, HD01 will be pulled early to help spread out a bit of a block of sets which come due together, that will have a minor exam Saturday and Sunday then HD07 will have its exam Monday and Tuesday next week.

Tomorrow is planned to see HD01-05 in service, HD06 should move back to ATC following tyre turning and HD07 is planned as the spare, probably as close to all 7 sets being available as has ever been!

A full house again on Saturday with HD03/04/05/07 in service. Sunday there are No Mk4 diagrams due to engineering works.
Heading into next week all of HD01-06 should be available with 07 stopping for exam after Saturday.

Rarebit and Lamb very good, seemed to be conspicuously large portions which I'm not complaining about.

The Apple Pie was also very nice and was the same exact pie from probably the same caterer as a small restaurant from my home village used to sell.

HD03 didn't get out for 1V31 this morning so ran as a 197, to balance things for Monday HD04 will work the 14:53 Cardiff to Manchester and 18:30 return while the 16:53 will run as a 197.

Tomorrow Currently should be:
HD02 starts 1V91 ends 1W65
HD03 starts 1V31 ends 1W63
HD04 starts 1W13 ends 1W96
HD05 starts 1W11 ends 1V50
HD06 starts 1V33 ends 1V62.
