TfW Class 67+Mk4 sets: trip planning/experiences, diagram updates etc

There is currently a 5mph ESR at Maindee so I’m wondering if it’s to do with that. 5V62 showing as going round the curve and reversing at Usk, but not sure why that can’t be done in service as it’s Cardiff crew worked and they sign it.

Crewe guards & drivers don’t sign via Usk which would possibly make sense for some workings being missing (21:24 Cardiff Crewe tonight, and the 05:15 & 06:10 Shrewsbury Cardiffs tomorrow are all Crewe drivers, and Shrewsbury guards for the morning two and they don’t sign Usk either)

W13/V31 both via East Usk tomorrow with same conducting crew.

6 sets on the move now today with HD04 now heading back to ATC and will enter service tomorrow.
HD07 will stop tomorrow for HVAC work to long standing issues in the SV.

67029 connected to HD04 - arrived from the wheel lathe.

67016 connected to HD06

HD04 potentially not ready from its post tyre turn checks so HD07 may run that diagram with its HVAC work deferred.

as did 1W12, 0549 Cardiff-Manchester. 5 car DMU, 14 mins late from Cardiff, 18 mins Maindee West to N jcts. 35 late off Crewe but still running...
the back working is apparently starting at Wilmslow.

HD01 should now pick up the rest of the diagram at 12:50. Was due to having no second driver to go via the East Usk diversion it was swapped out.

HD04 was also got out in time so is with 67029 and has enabled HD07 to remain at Crewe for its HVAC repairs.

Tomorrow should then see the full 4 diagrams, HD01 and 04 working out of Cardiff and HD03 and 07 out of Crewe whilst Sunday should see HD05 working out of Crewe and HD07 out of Cardiff.

HD05 is being swapped off it's diagram when it gets back to Crewe from Manchester with loco power issues.

There was planned a spare rake in Crewe tomorrow (HD01) so it shouldn't affect tomorrow's diagrams as that can be used if required.
