I mentioned the routes Thameslink run, type of traction, names of the senior team, figures such as profits made, etc. Worked for me!

GoVia, I think! I mentioned the basics such as revenue and then profit after tax, etc. I basically looked at their Companies House accounts.

I listed a few from the top rather than just the CEO.

They asked me about both TL and GN traction despite my local depot being TL.

Thanks for your responses bilo and baz really appreciate it, once again baz good luck for tomorrow. I'll be sure to research all that information tonight bilo. I have already included a brief description of gtr thameslink but worry if it's not sufficient. In terms of the routes I've mentioned that the main line is thameslink route one travelling through north to south London running from Bedford to Brighton also serving gatwick and Luton along the way. Then I've just mentioned that routes 2 - 4 have connections to Wimbledon, Sutton and sevenoakes and the service has 68 stations in total do you feel this is enough information on thameslink routes or is there anything else I could mention ??? I'm worried that if I include to much info in some parts it'll be extremely difficult to remember everything.

In terms of gtr I have mentioned that it is a joint venture between go ahead group 65% and Keolis 35 % which forms govia thameslink railway a franchise owned by govia, they also own Southeastern and London Midland... I believe it's the largest train operating company in the UK??

I'll be sure to add the other information you have provided before Thursday

Thanks again

I wouldn't go into too much about finiances, they don't need you to know the after tax profits! I researched purely on their website regarding passenger numbers and key commitments etc. A bit about routes and also rolling stock such as the new class 700's. Reserch the top management structure and who they are, what they do etc.
It depends on who you get interviewing you, but I got through on that information. They just don't want you to go in totally clueless about the company and to show
You've done you're research.

Traction are the trains. For example, the new TL trains are the Class 700.

Looks good to me mate, don't go into huge detail about the class 700, things like who makes it, when delivery is likely to be complete etc. Mention how many passengers they can move and new features such as open carriages you can walk the entire length of the train. Also touch on the new passenger displays, showing you info in London Underground helping with onward journey planning.

Sounds good baz, hope you get a positive result soon. A phone call is a positive result apparently, an email from them isn't. Good luck.
