Greetings all.

Just wondering if any of you know where the Driver Depots for Cross Rail will be located?

Also any of you Qualified Drivers looking to move over to Cross Rail.?

Thanks in advance.

Part of Ilford and the entire Gidea Park depot will be for the East side of Cross Rail

Plumstead and Reading if I'm not mistaken...

That sounds unlikely. Crossrail doesn't even serve Plumstead and Reading would be an odd choice as only some trains will go out that far. Old Oak Common would seem more sensible for the west depot.

Crossrail will start from Abbey Wood from the Kent side. Plumstead will be a large depot and sidings. You can see the construction taking place adjacent to Plumstead Sidings.

Linky
Crossrail rolling stock will be stabled at Old Oak Common Depot, Ilford Depot, Gidea Park, Plumstead, Maidenhead and Shenfield. Ilford Yard will be used to stable up to 12 trains.

Also google MTR planning permission plumstead and it will give you a link for the planning application and the map, details, and even projected train deprtures.
