Agreed about the new stock and diesels but the diesels freed up by the Chase Line I thought were the 170s (and a 153) that won’t be with WMR for much longer
I think there are enough 196s on order to completely replace all Sprinters/170s *and* offer the 20-car uplift, so the 170s being freed up by Chase electrification are still relevant to the increase of fleet size for Snow Hill/New Street longish distance services.
