1) The starting station is a terminus station
2) This service calls at more than one station in the same city (i.e. It might call at Edinburgh Waverly and then Haymarket)
3) This service runs on multiple lines which would be normally deemed 'seperate' lines (i.e. Thameslink runs on MML then BML)
4) This train is able to reach it's maximum speed on this journey, but this is not close to the line speed

^That doesn't fit clue 4. I'll give another clue, this seems to be quite hard.

6) The city in which it calls twice is Manchester

I'll revive things, and I hope @DanTrain won't mind if I set a new station...

1: Our journey begins at a station served by as many TOCs at it has platforms.
2: It ends at a station with three TOCs and seven platforms.
3: Our rolling stock's class number contains a 5.
4: Watch out for yellow and green at the stations en route.

Mine was the once-a-day through train from Buxton to Barrow-in-Furness if anyone was wondering. As for this, it’s going to take some research, which I don’t have time for now. As they say, I shall be back (I noone gets it in the meantime!)
