Clue 1: This station has two platforms.
Clue 2: Services are provided by Northern.
Can you clarify that please, do you mean all services are provided by Northern, or services are provided by Northern, and potentally other operators as well?
Either way, I'm going to say Hope Derbyshire

Assuming you mean when it runs via Grantham, I will go for Ancaster.
The 'normal route I refer to is stopping at Liverpool S Pkwy, Widnes, Warrington Ctl, Manchester O Rd, Manchester Picc, Stockport, Sheffield, Chesterfield, Alfreton, Nottingham, Grantham, Peterborough, Ely, Thetford and Norwich.
1) This station is north of a journey on a direct service from Liverpool Lime Street to Norwich (as normally operated.)
Clue 2) This station has no direct services to any of the three capitals of Great Britain.
