***I stupidly haven't planned my clues properly. Do you wish to carry on guessing? I'm only allowed to give 5 clues but I planned 7, without realising that the scoring system doesn't allow for that.***

If you want to carry on guessing, here you go. The first two clues are a bit broad to be honest.

1) This station is north of Bournemouth
2) This station is south of Leuchars

1) This station has no electrification.
2) There is no direct service to Scotland from here.
3) This station is not regularly staffed (Clarification: there are no staff unless mobile revenue protection officers turn up or a guard is despatching a train.)
4) There is only one platform.
5) The town this station serves is famous for a mint-flavoured sugary snack.

Clue 1 : this station does not have a through service to or from Kendal
Clue 2 : this station has 2 platforms
Clue 3 : this station is a terminus
Clue 4 : this station has overhead electrification
Clue 5 : there is a popular song which warns of the dangers of not wearing a hat when you visit this station !

Sorry to interrupt but Ellesmere Port it definitely is a terminus. Merseyrail terminate here and in the other direction Northern terminate here.
