Over the last four weeks, since the last scores update, eleven legs were void and scored no points because of moves that were not valid. Most of the mistakes looked to me as though maps had been used without checking actual service provision in the timetables. I am starting to get a distinct feeling of deja vu at this point, but the existence of a line on a map or diagram does not necessarily equate to a train running between points A and B. And where a train does run from A to B, it does not necessarily mean there is a train from B to A.

It is noticable that most mistakes are being made in periods of frenetic posting. Attempting to make journeys from Land's End to John o' Groats is all very well, but most of them scored no points because of invalid moves made many miles south of Hadrian's Wall.
