Woke up to sunshine, and the news that 60074 was allox to 6V75 this morning. Headed out towards Shrewsbury, thought about doing the Bayston Hill quarry shot, but elected to stick on the A49 to Wistanstow. And what a result - the farmer has put some rape in the field on the down side of the line and the sun appeared from behind a cloud with about a minute to spare, yielding this shot : http://www.ferret.fotopic.net/p57868387.html

60096 was allox on 6E41 as well, and having been bowled yesterday by my own stupidity (!!!), I decided to make it good today - a yomp down the field at Elford giving this shot in a lucky patch of sun among the increasing amount of cloud : http://www.ferret.fotopic.net/p57868398.html

There's a few other sheds (EWS/Freightliner/Fastline) from today in among the April collection - look if you like at http://www.ferret.fotopic.net/c1675786_49.html

Also, a couple of direct links to some from yesterday :

- http://www.ferret.fotopic.net/p57868383.html = 37688/37087 through Streetly crossing on the flasks

- http://www.ferret.fotopic.net/p57868385.html = 66411 through Tamworth with 4M44. Would've gone to Grendon for this save for an enormous raincloud that I feared would deluge us if we even attmepted to yomp down the field to the line:( *Still* a lineside shot of any of the DRS special liveries eludes me:(

Ta for the comments folks, and yes David - if that 60 had appeared 60 seconds earlier I'd have been screwed! Nice shot at Bayston:)

Cheers, we were abit concerned aswell, about 5 minutes before it was due the clear blue sky started to produce some clouds, and after a few scary moments we had a big enough gap in the fluff to bag a shot. (The joys of photography eh?!)
