Other than a service back to Coalville there isn't anything from here now for the rest of the day, and, not particularly wanting to head towards Leicester, we return in the morning we return for the 0617 Roberts service 159 to Hinckley (The Crescent Bus Station), arriving there at 0725 on Saturday morning.

Does that early bus run on Saturdays?
Google and the Roberts website suggest 0727 being the first available departure.

I’ve just ran this proposed journey through Traveline’s journey planner using tomorrows date (Saturday) - I can’t see the earlier departure either, but am happy if we were to just revise the journey to the later times of the 07:27 departure as the concept of overnighting seems reasonable.

We resume from Hinckley (The Crescent Bus Station) at 08:20 this Saturday morning.

Thanks, sorry had a manic afternoon/evening.

Just too far to be able to change with the 158, and crazily buses are only two hourly from here, so instead we board the 1337 Arriva Midlands service 2 to Barwell (East Green), arriving there at 1342 on Saturday afternoon.

Pipped!
Couldn't we get the 1137?

Presuming that the 1337 departure is an error, and we are actually on the 1137 (arriving at 1142) then...

We walk the 1 minute to The Square, where we board the 1148 Arriva Midlands service 158, alighting in Nuneaton Bus Station at 1225 on Saturday.

We take 11 minutes to walk the 0.5 mile to the railway station, and there board 2G86, West Midlands Trains' 1523 service, from which we alight at Leamington Spa at1553 on Saturday.

Where we decide to wait until the morning to catch the first train of the day which is 2K00 0853 Manchester Piccadilly to Stoke-on-Trent arriving at 9:12, getting off at Kidsgrove at 0936.

(I did look - it seems no buses on Sunday from the nearest bus stop at least from what I could find without walking a bit )

We exit the station and take the four minute walk to the bus stop outside the Langside Campus of Glasgow Clyde College on Battlefield Road, where we board the 1601 First Glasgow service 5 to Castlemilk (Glenacre Drive), arriving there at 1614 on Sunday afternoon.
