Bit limited for choice here. Part of me wants to stop off for the night but it's too early even though we know we'll have to get back to Stranraer, so all we can do is board the 2020 Stagecoach West Scotland service 367 to Portpatrick (Post Office), arriving there at 2039 on Thursday evening.

Unfortunately, that is the final journey of the day so we resign ourself to waiting for the first bus out the following morning which is the 0845 Stagecoach West Scotland service 367 to Lochans (Millview Terrace on Main Road) that arrives there at 0858 on Friday morning.

There's an earlier service 367 at 08.20 operated by DGC Buses.

There's an earlier service 367 at 08.20 operated by DGC Buses.
In that case, we can then board said 367 operated by Stagecoach from Millview Terrace at 0858 to Stranraer (Cross), arriving there at 0904 on Friday morning.

(On the assumption that the DGC Bus gets to Millview Terrace in time!)

A 6 min (0.3 mile) walk takes us to Glasgow Central railway station where we depart on 2J02, Scotrail's 1848 departure towards East Kilbride. We alight at Pollokshaws West at 1857 on Friday.

I boarded a train at Pollokshaws West only last Wednesday, unexpectedly... Honestly never expected to end up there!
