A brief walk around the corner to the Park Street stops, and we depart from Stop D at 1333 on service 511B. We alight at Appledore (Black Lion) at 1413 on Monday
No other option but to back track as only the 511B is available and we are 1.5 miles from Appledore railway station which is actually in Snargate so we take the only other bus of the day at 17.40 alighting at Hamstreet, Ham Street Railway Station at 17.55 on Monday.
We are a 10 minute walk from the 'Bournewood Stores' stop in the middle of this hamlet, so we walk there to catch Stagecoach South East service 511A at 1843 (as this one journey [and this one only] out of all the 511 variants appears to sail past the railway station without stopping...).
We alight at New Romney (Town Hall) at 1912 on Monday.
With only the 102 and 103 available at this time of night we next take the 22.11 Stagecoach South East service 102 alighting at Folkestone Central Railway Station at 22.35 on Monday.
We leave the station and take the seven minute (0.4 mile) walk to Stonepound Crossroads for the 10.52 Brighton & Hove (Metrobus) service 270 alighting at Forest Row, The Brambletye at 12.00 on Tuesday.
We take the allowed overnight travel relaxation ruling and next board the 0607 South Western Railway service to Bournemouth that arrives there at 0654 on Wednesday.
