Well what a sheer coincidence this is. I actually did this journey back on January! I had a couple of hours to kill in Birmingham, and fancied a bus ride, so got the 13A to that very stop and decided to get a train back from Rowley Regis, which is a five minute walk away!

Let's in fact mirror exactly what I did, and, joining the morning commuters, board the 0811 West Midlands Railway service 2S12 to Whitlocks End, arriving there at 0848 on Wednesday morning.

Always good to do a move in this game that we have done for real - I sometimes try and manoeuvre it to get somewhere I can do such a thing, but then get thwarted along the way!!

We step out of the Railway Station and take the opportunity of a bus that isn't operated by NXWM! In fact it is the 0906 Landflight service A4 to Shirley, Light Hall School arriving at 0922 on Wednesday morning.

I'm assuming we can use this and its not some kind of closed airport car park service... It is in the journey planners though.

We take the seven minute walk to the Bishopton Close bus stop on Stratford Road, and again let the NXWM buses slip by, as we board the 0940 Johnson Excelbus The Bards Bus service X20 to Spon End (Alvis Retail Park), arriving there at 1037 on Wednesday morning.

Unfortunately too far to walk to the Post Office for a change of service, so we will wait for the next Arriva Midlands service 110 at 1515 to travel to Fazeley, Bitterscote Lane arriving at 1521 on Wednesday.

I've just had a flashback of how limited and monotonous Tamworth's local bus services are, and if I recall correctly, it's just buses running back and forth random suburbs, so instead we backtrack slightly and board the 1540 Arriva Midlands Sapphire service 110 to Sutton Coldfield (Maney Hill Road), arriving there at 1605 on Wednesday afternoon.

Anyway, we take the seven minute walk to Lichfield City station and board the 1745 West Midlands Trains service 2O75 to Bromsgrove, arriving there at 1858 on Wednesday evening.

@ValleyLines142 Excellent. My last trip was towards the end of March on the last day of a rather subdued All Line Rover. I'm back at work next week it appears.

That seems to be the last service of the day in the area, so we will stay overnight and then take the short walk to York Street and wait for the 0727 Aston's Coaches service 294 to Hallow, opp Crown Inn arriving there at 0758 on Thursday morning.

Some of the other bus services in the area appear to either not be running at the moment, don't run on Thursdays, would leave us over the two hour limit, or we have just missed the bus, so we catch the 1001 Yarranton Brothers service 758 to Lindridge, Primary School arriving at 1013 on Thursday morning.

We take the latter, to avoid doubling back on ourselves, so we board the 1444 Yarranton Brothers service 758 to Worcester (Crowngate Bus Station), arriving there at 1523 on Thursday afternoon.
