We next board the 2036 Nottingham City Transport Lilac Line service 25 to Carlton (Square), arriving there at 2054 on Friday evening.

We take our maximum half mile walk to Carlton railway station and wait for the 21:28 East Midlands service to Lincoln Central where we arrive at 22:20 on Friday evening.

Next we take the 2226 East Midlands Railway service to Bleasby arriving at 2305 on Friday.

That appears to be it now for the rest of the day, so in the morning we return for the 0714 East Midlands Railway service 2L53 to Peterborough, arriving there at 0924 on Saturday morning.

(There is a service to both Lincoln and Nottingham beforehand within an hour of the Peterborough service but I didn't see the joy in doubling back to where we've just come from!)

We exit the station to the bus stop outside, and board the 1053 Centrebus service RF1 to Corby (George Street), arriving there at 1148 on Saturday morning.

Next we take the 1210 Whippet service 8 to Stanion, Village Hall arriving at 1240 on Saturday afternoon.

Well we are in a real pickle here, because there are actually no more buses continuing on and there is only a return almost five hours later but only back to Corby, so, we decide to let the remainder of the weekend pass as there is no Sunday service and board the 0748 Whippet service 8 to Kettering (Bus Interchange), arriving there at 0813 on Monday afternoon.

We then walk the half a mile to the railway station, boarding the 0830 East Midlands Railway service to Nottingham, arriving at 0923 on Monday morning.

We take the 0933 East Midlands Railway service to Barrow Upon Soar arriving at 1000 on Monday morning.

We exit the station and take the three minute walk to the bus garage, where we board the 1518 Trent Barton The Sixes service 6.1 to Bakewell (Matlock Street), arriving there at 1628 on Monday afternoon.

Next we catch the 1710 Hulleys service 172 to Winster, Hall arriving at 1736 on Monday.

Sadly, the last bus in the other direction has left ten minutes previously, so we shall have to stop off for the night and return in the morning for the 0751 Hulleys of Baslow service 172 to Bakewell (Square), arriving there at 0817 on Tuesday morning.
