Now in the Tube station we board the 17:40 Bakerloo Line service to Queens Park, arriving there at 17:55 on a Thursday.
We then board the 2015 Uno service 653 to Welwyn Garden City (Bus Station), arriving there at 2058 on Thursday evening.
QUERY RAISED
Since the previous service arrived at 2013, this would appear to have only left a TWO MINUTE connection time to the departure of this service, which is a different service to that service 602 which arrived at Smallford.
Has there been a rule change from the stated FIVE MINUTE minimum connection time?
I will not be online now until Sunday 31st March, as we will be in Shanklin on the Isle of Wight on holiday with a "wifely-imposed" Internet embargo
We have a short nap before boarding the 06:02 Southern service to Southbourne, arriving there at 07:03 on a Friday.
We now walk the 0.5 miles (11 mins) to Charing Cross, where we join the hoardes of Friday commuters on the 17:15 SouthEastern service 1H92 to Crowhurst, arriving at 18:44 Friday evening.
I think so. When "stop blocks" are used one can use an amount of leeway, especially when the specific stop/stand isn't stated.Sorry, the source I used didn't state that the 6 calls at Stop B on Piccadilly Circus, which is actually at the end of Piccadilly itself outside the Le Méridien restaurant and is 0.6 miles away from Charing Cross station.
Are we okay to let this slip and continue from Crowhurst?

One could argue that we used the Trafalgar Square entrance to Charing Cross station (and thus pull it back to 0.5 miles).
