Making our way into the railway station we see the famous Treorchy Male Voice Choir who give a rendition of an apt song for this time of the night "Ar Hyd y Nos (All through the night)" until we next board the 0341 Thameslink service to Bedford that arrives there at 0559 on Saturday morning.

We walk (9 minutes / 0.4 mile) to Queenstown Road Battersea station, where we board 2S23, South Western Railway's 0959 service. We alight at Egham at 1052 on Saturday.

We take the four minute walk the Queensmere Centre, where we board the 1255 Metroline service 81 to The Avenue, Cranford, arriving there at 1341 on Saturday afternoon.

From The Avenue at Cranford board a TFL route 105 (TFL don't give exact times, simply every 11-13 mins, so we'll assume 13 mins ~ 1354) to Greenford Station arriving at 1429 Saturday afternoon.

Bustimes.org do and they say it leaves at 1351 and arrives at 1448. Funnily enough this was the exact route I was typing out but you posted before me.

We then go into the station Board the 1458 Central Line Service to Epping where we arrive at 1613 on Saturday.

No prob - I'd used the TFL website which doesn't give specific times.

From Epping Station at 1645 take Vectare route 13 to Waltham Cross arriving at 1713 Saturday afternoon.

Having found an accomodating hostelry for a quick pint of locally brewed McMullen's AK, return to Hertford bus station for the 1859 Green Line 724 to Heathrow Airport arriving at 2117 Saturday evening.

Alas, a tedious wait through the 'wee small hours', but at 0615 National Express 251 will take us to Stansted Airport arriving at 0800 Sunday morning.

We take advantage of the overnight rule, and find a comfy platform bench to have a nap.
Rememebring to set our alarm, at 0548 we board 1Y06, West Midlands Trains service towards London, from which we alight at Long Buckby at 0625 on Monday morning.
