Well, after a couple of journeys on the inter-terminal transit thingy (who wouldn't?) I think we could catch the 400 bus (Metrobus) to Caterham. Leaving from the South terminal at 1355 and arriving opposite Caterham station at 1447.

All still on Thursday.

Does someone want to actually try and do all these one week? :D

So having got to Willesden at 1751, we'll stick on London Overground to Imperial Wharf, leaving at 1801 and arriving at 1816. Where we become fed up with LO and get off, having almost come full circle in 90 minutes, in full Friday rush hour flow...

After examining the attractions of Brighton station we are anxious to be on our way again and take the 2103 Southern service to Havant arriving at 2209 on Friday night.

Three minutes into the journey we feel obliged to hum to ourselves the song "People Will Say We're in Hove", obligatory for ISIHAC fans.

After a fast meal of fish and chips, we catch the 1500 Northern Rail train to Barton-on-Humber arriving at 1548 on Saturday afternoon. The sun is getting quite low in the Western sky as we alight.

Deciding on a change of method of transport and seeing a bus stop outside the railway station and looking on the Saturday timetable, we find that the ferry had public transport replacements arranged and these days, Stagecoach Grimsby run a good service on Saturdays so we board their limited-stop "Humber Flyer" at 1609 which crosses the river Humber giving quite good river views and it arrives round the corner from Hull railway station at 1639 on Saturday afternoon.

A short wait to contemplate the delights of Hull and we are on the platform in time for the 1738 Northern Rail service to Seamer. It is now 1903 on Saturday.

At which point we realise we may have just stranded ourselves in Sunderland overnight on a Saturday, and run hell for leather across the platform to catch the 2317 metro straight back to Newcastle... Unless of course we miss it, but then we get the next one.

We're back in Newcastle by midnight either way.
