Hello all,
I’m planning to book First and Standard Advance tickets for a group in June on the direct 7:16 Euston to Blackpool North and 11:51 return services via the West Midlands.
Avanti have released Advance tickets on weekday services commencing 2 June but the above 2 services aren’t yet open. RTT states these will be operated by the new Hitachi services which I presume is the reason they aren’t yet open for bookings?
What is the ratio of First and Standard seating on these new services operating to/from Blackpool and is there likely to be some Standard Premium seating or will it just convey First and Standard? The current Pendolinos operating these services offer reasonable value First Advances, but suspect quota may be reduced with fewer seats.
