My mate mentioned it had pretty strong lights pointing into the air what seems a little odd. Wish I had seen it :/

That RTT is the only movement I can see around 11:30 between Wolvercote junction and Tackley listing it as a Network Rail R.T.C

Looks like the National Measurement Train (yellow HST).

You are right. 156479 ran 2H63 Carlisle to Skipton (arr 33 late, so cancelled); 5H63 Skipton to Leeds and then 2H92 12:28 Leeds to Carlisle, attached to nothing when I got off it at Garsdale.
