Hi,
I'm trying to find out what traction or unit I heard earlier today. Please bear with me whilst I try to describe the location!

I was at Walton Colliery Nature Park near Wakefield, which is bordered by 2 railway lines - one is a part of the ECML, i think, running along the south/southwest side, and the other is more of a local line running north to east (coming from Wakefield Kirkgate). I heard a unit passing the park at around 12:22 today; it was definitely diesel and sounded like it was high in its rev range but it didn't sound like a sprinter to me (although that would be the most likely answer).
I presume it had left, or passed through Kirkgate just a couple of minutes earlier, heading in the direction of Fitzwilliam, but it's difficult to trace on RTT as you can only specifiy 'calling at' rather than 'passing through', and I don't know where it was calling!

Can anyone help?
