Far superior in many ways. Smooth riding, brighter, more space, faster, improved catering, clearer information displays....
Are you sure about the smooth riding as CAFs products for Northern are definitely not.Far superior in many ways. Smooth riding, brighter, more space, faster, improved catering, clearer information displays....
They actually have two per coach and they’re a good size too.Have also heard that every coach will have luggage racks near the door.

Have also heard that every coach will have luggage racks near the door. It's annoying on the 350 that B doesn't have luggage racks, and you have passengers who get on, assume the whole train doesn't have any and block the aisle or doors with their luggage. By the time it has left the airport, the train is usually too busy for the luggage to be moved to an adjacent car's luggage rack.
Seconded. My personal favourite of the Nova fleet. (And I’ve spent plenty of time on all three whilst on test)Yes I'm sure.

I know there are various work streams which are on going to use this data. It's not really my area so I'm not privy to the details.Does Nova 2 track seat occupancy and display which carriages are the busiest? Have heard that the DILAX reservation system has this capability. If so, where will this information be available, if you know? Have seen a 185 have this info available through the TPE app. Would hope this info is available on the screens at the platform.

Before the timetable change?Evidently, no.
...And no.
I do hope it's not too long before the class 397s finally start entering passenger service.More new train news for the UK. The final @CAFRailUK vehicles for @TPExpressTrains have been delivered from Spain. 5-car 125mph EMU 397012 and Driving Trailer 12814 have arrived. Means all 44 Nova trains have been delivered to UK.
I hope so too for the reason that it allows the 350/4s to be cascaded south - WMR's popularity currently seems to be plunging towards the abyss on my local line, whose planned improvements are contingent on them arriving on time.I do hope it's not too long before the class 397s finally start entering passenger service.
According to Richard Clinnick on Twitter, 397012 has just become the last of TPE's 44 new "Nova" trains to arrive in the UK:

Thanks for the photo, and definitely a bit of an oops!
But thankfully nothing like the HST & Azuma incident at Neville Hill.
were all driver's drunk last night? an Azuma rear ended a HST last night as well397011 derailed at Longsight last night....
Theres loads of reasons why these incidents can happen, there will be investigations to the causes and whilst driver error could be the conclusions come to in the investigation I dont believe that one will have been completed that quickly to point the blame. Drunk drivers would be more severe and is likely at the very bottom of the list of possibilities although the crews will be tested as a routine to rule out any possibility, I'm sure if anyone failed they would be hung out to dry fairly rapidly.were all driver's drunk last night? an Azuma rear ended a HST last night as well
