This may be in the wrong topic so feel free to move it...but...
With the May-Dec 09 timetables out, TransPennine Express services (between LIV and SCA) are the only trains which fail to stop in Liverpool South Parkway station (except Pendos, which won't fit on the platform)
LM have Birmingham trains serving it every half hour, EMT have trains to Nottingham and Norwich, there's local services to Warrington, Hunts Cross, Manchester and Southport, not to mention regular bus link to Liverpool JL Airport and a train to central Liverpool every 6 minutes on average.
Due to line speed limits, they have to slow to 20mph as they leave the WCML (directly after the station) it just seems a little pointless that this fantastic facility is there and not being used.
Thoughts?
