Exactly. Personally I would be dropping over 10k on a training wage so 8 weeks as opposed to a year or two makes a big differenceIt's a very valid consideration for those who would have to take a pay cut for the training period. It's easy to say don't fixate on the salary, but we all have bills to pay.
Did you select Newcastle first choice and you’ve been offered assessment days?Did anyone else tick the box for the dates of the tests not being suitable? I did and find it a bit odd that it hasn't been acknowledged in any way.........?
I was hoping to but Newcastle had vanished off the list by the time I'd finished my application. A lesson learnt the hard way.......Did you select Newcastle first choice and you’ve been offered assessment days?
No, 8 weeks after starting your training.I'm assuming he meant 8 weeks after finishing your training? I know some TOC's have a 6 month probation after finishing your training which you need to pass to then go onto full salary.
I've heard nothing and booked in for Tuesday. Going to ring tomorrow.Has anyone who’s already passed the tests heard anything from tpe? Ie they don’t have to attend this stage?

Just heard that it's the top scorers of the online tests who have been offered assessments this week and any further intakes for assessments will depend on how these ones go
ive just heard differently to what you say
What have you heard? It was a tpe guard who told me they had heard this but probably the usual railway rumoursive just heard differently to what you say
