Some from my first run on the Blackpool branches route, really enjoying it.

I think I enjoy taking photos more than driving though!

And my second go, taking 47555 from Preston to Blackpool.
Lovely stuff. If DTG added as many livery variations to their offerings as Just Trains do, I doubt people would complain as much.

I picked up TSW4 in the current Steam autumn sale, and I'm greatly enjoying my time with it so far.

Here's a shot of a run I'm currently playing of timetabled service 1H02 from Grantham to Doncaster. Fitting that I could grab a Hull Trains livery from Community Creations to make this feel more authentic.IMG_2023.11.25-19.00.48.jpg

Just looked through the last dozen or so shots on this thread and I am amazed at how good the latest Train Sim Offerings are these days - that 'is it a real photo' question is getting harder and harder to answer. So so much better than the original MSTS of 20 years ago which I worked with creating my original (very flat) Woodhead Route (and bizarrely some Blackpool Trams!)

Ah, that rings a bell! It was Woodhead V1 that only ran as far as the Woodhead Tunnel, then a full Woodhead Route V2.2.

Terrain was harder to create with MSTS (I don’t think rivet counters was even possible back then), so some sections were indeed flat where there were supposed to be hills and gradients that you would see in real life.

Indeed, it was “As Real As It Gets”, as it said on the MSTS package.

Something different than scenarios and quick drives....some before and afters....still heavily WIP.

The photos below are only small bits. Not fully finished but work around CDQ. A lot of clutter added to the stations and surrounding area

Is it right in saying that Train Sim World is the best rail game for the PC?

My prefernce is Train Simulator Classic. Much greater variety of traction and rolling stock as it’s been around for a lot longer, and looks and feels more realistic to me.

Cheers m8 will have a look about to see where the best place is to buy.

Best price i've seen for Train Simulator Classic - Deluxe Edition is £29.99, does that sound about right?

A couple of years ago on TrainSim SafeHouse, I was invited to become part of the team helping to finish off ex MakingTracks models for MSTS/Open Rails which were never released/completed. I started off with the Class 313s.

More recently, I was also making Class 315 sets. Here are a couple that I recently completed, after having found the elusive TrackOff logo using the WayBack machine a few months ago. Both 315844 and 315858 wore the BTP wrap in the 2000s, but I couldn't decide which one to do, so in the end I did both of them.
