It is also on the TrawsCymru front page as the T7 on the 'Routes' drop-down, which takes you to one page of info (with X7 rather than T7 on the URL) which then links to both the current and revised timetables on TravelineCymru.
I really don't understand the level of stupidity that's required to end up with a PDF on a website that's been sourced from a printed timetable that somebody hasn't even put into the scanner so that it's straight!

T7 PDF

That won't be permeant will it?
The Merthyr - Brecon section has never had an hourly service before so it's possible it wont come back. Howevr a more logical cut would have been to the T9 and reuse the new vehicles from there.

Was that bit basically brought in as part of an improvement to the service and now with Covid, they cut it back with the reduced usage levels? Sorry, not familiar with the service.

Timetable for the T7 (Still TrawsHafren) is now available on the Newport Bus website. Monday to Friday timetable remains the same, Saturday timetale near identical as the weekday service and a 2 hourly Sunday service with the first and last journey commencing to/ from Magor.
The Saturday/Sunday journeys from Magor are a bit odd as they've never run before, however I suppose the vehicle is going to be running from that direction anyway. They've taken the cheap option of avoiding Bristol bus station just to make it easier for people who might want to transfer to other services!

And using a stop on the opposite side of Marlborough Street to maximise the inconvenience.

It happened when the MCVs entered service and the Brecon-Hereford service was 'Traws'ed into the T14. The T14 journeys were extended between Brecon and Merthyr then between Merthyr and Cardiff they covered some of the T4 shorts. Since Covid the T14 has been cut back again to the same as the old Brecon-Hereford service and the T4 is what it used to be before June 2019

From the Newport Bus website:
T7 Traws Hafren timetable changes (newportbus.co.uk)

'Reduced timetables will be in place from Sunday 17th January for the T7 Traws Hafren Magor to Bristol. As the result of a review in passenger numbers over the first week of operation and the request from the Welsh Government to reduce services during the lockdown, Traws Cymru have authorised a reduction in service from Sunday 17th January.

This will mean no Sunday service and reduced service to every other hour Monday to Saturday. The revised timetable is available here for download here:

TrawsCymru T7 Timetables (17-01-21)
TrawsCymru T7 Timetables (17-01-21) (616 KB)

This change will only be for lockdown where public transport should only be used for essential transport. Once out of lockdown, the service will return to its normal timetable. '

Well that didn't last for long! Did nobody in the Welsh government realise they were in lockdown when they started the service!

T7 will be operated by a pair of MCV bodied Volvo B8RLE's, ex T4/T14.
These haven't appeared yet and the service is still being operated by the E400s. (Or E400 singular from next week!).

351 (BV19 LPA) is operating the service today (Tuesday 19).
Can it be confirmed that Bristol bound buses are now using the Metrobus stop (stop E) at the Mall (as shown on ‘bus times’) instead of stop H, which is still used by Chepstow bound buses, presumably to avoid passengers getting on the wrong bus as both directions depart xx:25?

Not helped by the destinations constantly changing to the welsh versions! (On the first day of the service both lunchtime departures were to 'Bryste' just to make it worse!).

The 6 Optare Tempo operated by New Adventure Travel on the T9 have found themselves with a new home at Llew Jones of Llanrwst. At present it’s unclear whether they will see operation in Llanrwst, or be sold on as part of the company’s coach dealership

Actually only five have gone to Llew Jones, you can discount YJ61 MMF from the above ^^

Tempos are said to be for use from Spring for the new T19 service, pending delivery of the intended new stock at a later date.

Any clues as to what the new T19 timetable may look like?

I don't I'm afraid, the detail I'm aware of is as follows:

TrawsCymru T22 Caernarfon to Blaenau Ffestiniog via – Porthmadog and a T19 TrawsCymru Connect, Blaenau Ffestiniog and Llandudno.

The T19 will obviously replace the current 19/X19 provision it would be assumed that Llew Jones operate and the T22 is the replacement for the bulk of the 1 service that previously operated by Express Motors (gained early deregulation off Crosville Wales). The T22 would I assume replace the 3B that Arriva recently binned off and Lloyds have started operating, the Porthmadog to Caernarfon section probably will complement the T2 to make a hourly headway north.

Worth a read here:

Thanks!

Shame that the T19 isn’t planned to extend to Dolgellau, that would really open up connectivity.
Presumably the T19 will run via the A470, so shouldn’t really impact Llew Jones’ 19 which runs via Conwy and Trefiew?

Hopefully some attempt will be made to coordinate T19 with trains both timings wise and with inter available ticketing on the Bleanau branch?

I would assume the T19 would replace the 19/X19 which is why Llew Jones has the vehicles. It was being specifically promoted as Traws Cymru Connect in the press releases about the electric buses.

The 19/X19 routes are totally different the only common denominator is a couple of bus stops in Central Llandudno and the section south of Llanrwst. So not sure which side of the Conwy Valley the T19 will take. The western side, 19 route is much busier in terms of patronage, and doesn’t really compete with the train but it does take about 20 minutes longer.

If the T19 ran via the western side it would serve Conwy which could be popular with tourists though!

4 of the 6 Optare MetroCity's destined for the T9 Cardiff Airport Express have now made their way onto the T6 route as of today. CN20BZB/C/D/|E are now based in Swansea whilst F/G are still based out in Cardiff.

It seems that two of the former T6 vehicles are now debranded and are based out fo Taff’s Well depot and has been tracked operating on the 404 between Pontypridd and Bridgend

Newport Bus 351 now carries bi-lingual route branding for the T7 above the windows:
MAGOR-CHEPSTOW-CRIBBS CAUSEWAY-BRISTOL CITY CENTRE/MAGOR-CAS GWENT-CRIBBS CAUSEWAY-CANOL DINAS BRYSTE. Presumably 352 has been/will be similarly branded.
