Trivia; what's the smallest delay repay you have had?

*Not sure which section to put this in!!

Asking because I have received 62p delay repay from Northern (fare was with railcard), so it would be interesting if anyone can "beat" my whopping 62p refund?!

I suppose the smallest you can get - is a 15 min delay on the country's cheapest ticket?

I can’t beat that but 80p on the return leg of a journey with a railcard

I've had one in the past year from TfW for just 63p which was calculated as 12.5% of a £5.00 return fare (15-29 mins delay). A Northern-style complimentary travel ticket would certainly have been of more use/greater value!

Suspect at the moment that's a single on the Marston Vale, ideally for a child - 50p.
£1 for adults? In the old days when you submitted a claim via post, many a time it wasn't worth the stamp! I suppose as it's all automatic - even if submitting images of your ticket - there's no additional cost to the TOC or passenger so a small amount is worth claiming - and of course they all add up over the course of time!

32p Wigan-Garswood Northern with Railcard
Is that the repay or the actual fare? Looks like repay which would take some beating!
A Wigan NW/Wallgate->Garswood Off Peak Day Return with railcard discount is currently £2.70 (but was £2.55 earlier in the year), so 32p would have been the 12.5% Delay Repay amount due on a 15-29 mins delay.

I also had one this year for 34p both times Wigan NW platform 6 at 13.53 on train waiting for 15 minutes in carriage ,then all got turfed out.

I have plenty of old ones at 33p (15 minute delay on my Eastleigh to Winchester season ticket). I always made them post me vouchers too!
I most like my 39p one which was from an appeal of a rejected claim! Not sure how little I value my time!!!

Last year I put in a claim to Northern for a 30+ minute delay, in order to get a free ticket. However, they decided that my delay was under 30 minutes (which it wasn't, as that would have required me to catch a train on which my Advance wasn't valid), and sent me a 55p rail travel voucher.

Lowest I've been given was two (!!) individual one pound vouchers for one journey. Had them posted and received two individual letters with a 1 pound and three voided vouchers in each. Fantastic.

That's rather funny. It's bot the amount but the fact you asked for them to be posted.

I can't remember what my smallest payout is but bound to be one under £1.00.

If you have a c2c Smartcard, you can get delay repay from delays of 2 minutes, at the rate of 3p per minute for delays under 15 minutes.

Unfortunately nearly all of my cheap journeys are on London Overground which doesn't offer Delay Repay so I couldn't beat the above quoted. Even a 15-minute delay for my typical delay-prone journeys will result in substantial compensation.
