The Peterborough move is the diesel loco to take over from Mayflower on the return Lincoln to Chelmsford charter?

I'm confused (easily done) as the Mayflower had 47245 on the rear, so why would 47772 be seen on the Southall to P'borough light engine run https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:U63147/2021-08-28/detailed which would put two WCR 47's at P'Borough, unless the coaching stock will be top and tailed ?

Is the Mayflower making her one way back to Southall under this path https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:U63152/2021-08-28/detailed - or was 47772 sent to drag her back ?
