For future reference, it is extremely rare for a GBRf class 66 to work a Freightliner service! o_O

Now on 0158 Felixstowe to Masborough, expect it to be back on 4L13 1113 Masborough to Felixstowe.

Thanks 55002, I'm stuck today sadly due to work so was hoping 59202 would be in the west rather than the east. No luck today then but I may ask again tomorrow if that's OK. Many thanks for your help.

I really really appreciate all the help everyone has given with tracking down these, but I am having one of those weeks where everything goes wrong and I still couldn't get to Romford in time to catch it. Deeply frustrating as 539 is my only FL one left and 743 one of only two GBRF ones apart from the recent import ones. 743 particularly galling as it's the Royal Scotsman one so hard to spot in London. Shame it doesn't get a turn on the Hams Hall freightliners that go through Willesden area between 1330 and 1400 with GBRF locos. It's probably not worth me asking again tomorrow as my day is equally likely to be chaotic, and I don't want to waste people's time. But thanks all for trying.

Dont worry people on here always willing to help, looks like 539 is heading up to Tinsley on 4E82 0036 from Felixstowe and returns on 4L85 1122 via Peterborough. 66743 came off the Masborough to Felixstowe at Peterborough

539 is at Ipswich 743 at Peterborough.

Good morning.

Please can anyone tell me what was working 5E81 and is next working 5S96 today 10/09/2021. That is the Lumo service (test/training ?) Edinburgh to Kings Cross and return. I know it shoud be a TPE 802/2. But which one ?.

Any help much appreciated as I have a small chance of intercepting it.

Agreed.

I am based south London too. so any days out I have to factor in first trains from my local station and/or via Thameslink.

Yes and the TPE/Lumo workings are doable off peak from Croydon and tubeless by Thameslink !.
