A couple of months ago, I bought 3 adult advance return tickets from Kings Cross to Edinburgh (to travel in July 2015). I believe they say "East Coast". Now the new TOC is Virgin, will my tickets still be valid?
Thank you, but are you absolutely sure? I don't want to be caught out with a ticket that is from a TOC that is no longer trading (and end up with court with an invalid ticket)
Absolutely sure. I have a small pile of tickets for regular travel between Newcastle and Kings Cross, bought during the era of DOR a.k.a. East Coast and for use during the era of VTEC, both during the past few weeks and over the coming weeks. So do many other regular passengers.Thank you, but are you absolutely sure?

Their validity is entirely unnaffected by the change in administration and those inspecting tickets are not concerned with the change to the name of the operator.
