Watford?

Would anyone be kind enough to give me the address (or point out on google maps) of the place in Watford where one sits their psychometric tests?

I remember it being hard to find. It is down an alley off the high street, not far from the BT offices.

Hi GB. Would it be the Shannon Rail place in Watford for assessments, medicals, etc.? If so, link to their website here: http://www.shannonrail.co.uk/FindUs.html. I'm sure someone on one of the forums mentioned being sent there for part of their recruitment stuff - a bit like firms here in the north using DB Schenker's place in Doncaster.

If not, I read that Network Rail had built a new training 'Centre of Excellence' somewhere near Watford. Looking at the map Croxley Green seems to ring a bell, but I could be wrong. Saw something in a recruitment/training type magazine while waiting in a friend's office about the Network Rail one.

Centre of Excellence ?? do you mean the signalling school and other bits stuck out on an business park in the middle of nowhere ?? Good god, theres some creative licence.

May well be the one. It was a text-only full-page article rambling on about the 'superb new training facilities' of Network Rail in Watford. (I think it may have been promoting the firm that consulted on the design, who also have something on the web about it as I've just found out!) It was on about page 6 of this glossy magazine, and I was beginning to lose the will to live when I'd got that far (waiting for my colleague in her office). Let's just say, I've derived more pleasure from glancing through the rail Rule Book modules on-line than reading that mag!

Thanks guys, I'm not exactly sure where it is yet as I have not had a letter...just a text from my manager saying it was next week at Watford:roll:

Hi all, I have got my letter through the post today and I can confirm it is at the OPC. However also on the letter it list the tests I will take but there are some I do not recognize.

SAFEPQ/CSPQ
RvCE (Verbal Communication)
RwCE (Written Communication)
TRFS

Can anyone shed anylight on the above as they were not in my practice paper.

Update

I passed all the tests upto the structured interview. The results from the structured interview and for the GBRF specific tests are assesed by HR so I will not find out the final result untill later.
